Riccardo Varotto, dissemination leader of the POLYMERS-5B project, representing NSBproject srl, was invited to speak at an online event organised by CARE4BIO, the Horizon Europe project network of Cluster 6 NCPs (National Contact Points) for ‘Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment’.
The CBE JU (Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking) is of significant interest to research organisations and companies committed to the green transition, offering dedicated annual funding for the circular bioeconomy and specific Research & Innovation themes within Cluster 6. In December 2024, the CBE JU published its Annual Work Programme for 2025, detailing the next call for project proposals. A substantial €165 million will be allocated to advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe across 13 distinct topics.
This event provided an informative session covering the CBE JU Work Programme 2025. NSB’s contribution focused on how to participate in CBE JU initiatives, drawing on the good practice of the funded POLYMERS-5B project. NSB together with the scientific coordinator IST-ID / IBB also shared valuable tips and tricks for coordinators involved in consortium building and proposal preparation.
The presentation slides are attached for those who couldn’t attend: downolad here.
